RDA Work-Based Learning Coordinator

Mr. Cameron O'Sullivan

Personal Information:

Cameron is a 2004 Graduate of Dorman High School.  He then graduated from Clemson University with bachelor’s degree in Technology & Human Resource Development, with a concentration in Career & Technical Education in 2009, and then earned his Masters in Youth Development Leadership in 2012.  Then went back to school in 2017 to earn a Masters in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.

In addition to being a big Clemson football fan, where he played 2008-2009 seasons, he loves to spend time with his family outdoors.  He and his wife have two girls who love to play softball and ride horses while living and working on their farm in Walnut Grove.

Work Experience:

Cameron joined the R.D. Anderson staff in 2009 where he began his teaching career as a Construction & Manufacturing instructor while also teaching some Commercial Graphics classes as well.  During this time Cameron also coached football at Woodruff High School.

In 2013, he left R.D. Anderson to be the campus pastor of a NewSpring Church campus in Boiling Springs before returning back to R.D. in spring semester of 2016 to teach Health Science 1 students.  In the fall of 2016 Cameron then created the class “Leadership That Works” where he taught students leadership and soft skills to help them be successful in the workplace and in life.  In 2023, Cameron was excited to step into his current role as Work-Based Learning Coordinator where he can put his years of Career & Technical Education experience to further use by connecting students and local industry with their future.  He believes that Work-Based Learning experiences are the crown jewels of education and bring purpose to hundreds of students at R.D. Anderson every year.
